The Forest Hill Institute of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is often complimented for having the most pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We believe in making our plastic surgery Toronto patients and prospective patients feel at home immediately upon entering our facility.

Initial consultations with Dr. Sliwin consist of meeting the staff, viewing educational patient video films, discussing the procedure with a nurse educator and then meeting with the doctor.

All of our qualified staff members are happy to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have. Cosmetic Surgery is a very personal decision and every effort is made on our part to make you feel comfortable and informed during your decision-making process.

About Dr. Sammy SliwinAll procedures are performed by Dr. Sliwin personally. The Institute is not a training ground for students. Our medical team consists of a full roster of very skilled and caring nurses and 2 anesthetists, many who have worked along side of Dr. Sliwin for the last 15–22 years.

Our clinic is fully accredited by The Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (CAAASF) ( The CAAASF is a national organization formed in 1990 to ensure that surgical procedures done outside a public hospital are performed safely and carefully.

At the private clinic, patients can comfortably recover in their own private room, on site, with nurses attending to their needs throughout their stay. While most of the surgeries are performed in his private clinic, they can also be scheduled at the Scarborough General Hospital.

Some of the procedures performed at our private clinic include Endoscopic Brow Lifts, Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Rhinoplasty (nose surgery), Face Lifts, Liposuction, Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction and Breast Lifts.

Frequently asked Questions

Does your clinic charge a consultation fee?

Yes a one-time fee of $100.00 which is deducted from the cost of the first surgery. There is no charge for additional consultation.

Do I need a referral to see the Doctor?

No. Getting a consultation is as simple as making a telephone call.

Is cosmetic surgery covered by health insurance?

Only reconstructive surgery such as Breast Reduction or hand surgery is covered by health insurance.

Is plastic surgery expensive?

The costs depends on the procedure and can range from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. When comparing the costs to the improvements that surgery can bring about, It’s relative to the amount of work being done to obtain successful results.

If I decide to have surgery, how long will I have to wait?

We can accommodate most surgeries within a few weeks.

What are the complications which might arise from surgery?

The success of plastic surgery increases dramatically if your expectations are realistic. Like any surgery, risks are present which is why you should turn to a qualified surgeon. Dr. Sliwin will be pleased to educate you on the complications associated with the various types of plastic surgery.
