To provide all of his Toronto and Scarborough facelift patients with the finest aesthetic results possible, Dr. Sliwin uses many of the latest surgical technologies and techniques. He treats each patient with the utmost dedication and compassion – an approach that has helped him earn a reputation as a leading facelift Toronto specialist. In the paragraphs below, Dr. Sliwin describes facelift surgery and the results that can be achieved through it.

Facelift Procedure

Also known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck by tightening and repositioning facial muscles and skin. Fat grafting is often done as well to revolumize the face.

How long will the results last? Results are permanent, but you continue to age normally. A healthy lifestyle will positively affect your appearance.

Will facelift surgery leave a scar? Minimal scars, incisions placed inconspicuously in front and behind the ears and behind the hair line.

How much time off will I need after my surgery? Minimum 1–2 weeks.

Do I need to stay overnight? Yes. And follow-up visits to the clinic will be required so Dr. Sliwin can monitor recovery.

What if I need to wear glasses? Wearing glasses is not a problem.
